Dr. Angel Paas has been practicing gynecology since 2003. She combines almost 15 years of experience in private practice with a kind and calm demeanor, providing the highest quality gynecological and surgical care to her patients. Dr. Paas has also developed a passion for aesthetic services. Her belief is that a woman’s health is a combination of that which makes a woman feel good on the inside and what makes her feel beautiful on the outside. This combination is formulaic and different for every woman, but Dr. Paas believes that striking that balance between physical and mental well-being is critical to care for the whole woman.
Dr. Paas received her B.S. degree in Biology with a concentration in Neuroscience from Duke University. She earned her medical degree at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, NC. Dr. Paas is an experienced, well-trained physician with clinical interest and expertise in preventive care, adolescent gynecology, managing the transition through perimenopause and postmenopause, contraceptive counseling and management, and minimally invasive surgery. She remains interested in and continues to train in new technologies that she feels will further improve her provision of care. Dr. Paas continues to keep current on the latest procedural advancements and breakthroughs. She offers the latest in in-office procedures, including hormone pellet insertion and the use of PRP (platelet rich plasma) in various gynecology treatments, and hysteroscopy and hysteroscopy (both diagnostic and operative). These diagnostic and operative hysteroscopic procedures include endometrial ablation (Novasure, HTA, Minerva), permanent sterilization, and endometrial polypectomy and curettage (Symphion). Additionally, Dr. Paas offers in-office labiaplasty, sonohysterograms, Nexplanon insertions, endometrial biopsy, intrauterine device insertion, LEEP procedure, subdermal contraceptive implant insertion, and colposcopy.
Dr. Paas endeavors to provide a high level of care to all her patients, a level of care she would give or expect to be given to her family members. In all that she does as a doctor, she seeks to show Christ’s love and compassion to every patient. She is a devoted wife and mother of two handsome boys. “I absolutely love working at Kennesaw Gynecology. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with Dr. Paas again. After working 33 years in the field and in numerous settings, with many different doctors, I can honestly say that Dr. Paas’ practice rivals all others. She delivers a personal experience that is unique to each individual, and she genuinely cares about each patient medically, and more importantly, personally. I love that she values her time spent with each patient and makes sure they don’t feel rushed or insignificant in any way. She has a way of making you feel good about yourself. After each scan that I perform on a patient, Dr. Paas will discuss their results with them right away. The patients love getting their results then and there, without having the anxiety associated with unknown outcomes and long waits. From the minute you walk into Kennesaw Gynecology until the minute you walk out, you will feel like a VIP.”
